For this scene the brief was to model and texture a rooftop environment to meet certain restrictions;
- Poly count: 20,000 tri's.
- Texture space: 2 textures at 1024*1024.
- Style: accurate to reference and photo-realistic in terms of look.
The real challenge to this piece was making full use of limited texture space. Tiled UV layouts, overlays and vertex colouring were heavily used to add detail and variety to the scene.
Final poly count comes to 19,370 triangles.
